All-On-4 Dental Implants

A fixed solution for broken down and missing teeth

All on 4 dental implants are a revolutionary approach which allows the total oral rehabilitation of patients with the placement of four dental implants in each jaw to support immediate fixed replacement teeth. This is particularly useful for patients who suffer from advanced gum disease, terminal teeth or lack the sufficient bone volume to support traditional dental implants.

Once the four implants have been implanted to your lower or upper jaw bone, the All-on-4 bridge is attached to the four implants. This allows the placement of a fixed set of teeth similar to natural teeth and works to stabilise bone levels, keeping your jaws and smile healthy.

If not enough bone is present, the implants can also be placed at a slight angle into the gums and bone; allowing for the prosthetic teeth to sit in its correct position. Where required, the implant surgery may also require another surgical procedure, example: sinus lift.

One easy appointment

As there are fewer implant fixtures placed, the all on 4 dental implant procedure is a much faster and less invasion option, making it the best alternative to more traditional dental implant treatments and removable dentures. The entire procedure can usually be completed in as little as one visit. After that there will be a recovery period after which you'll be able to enjoy your new smile!

We also offer sleep dentistry in tandem with our implant procedures. Because the all-on-4 dental implant treatment involves surgery, this type of treatment is usually carried out under deep IV sedation or general anaesthetic.

Advantages of All-on-4

There are many advantages of all-on-4 dental implants over traditional dental implants and dentures, particularly for patients who don't have enough structural support in their jaw bones and aren't eligible for a bone graft.

  • Higher success rates than traditional dentures and implant treatment
  • Fixed teeth replacement
  • Eliminates the need for costly and invasive procedures that require bone grafting or bone grafts
  • All-on-4 dental implants are the best treatment method for patients with health conditions, such as bone loss, that don't allow bone grafting to be performed on the jaw bone.
  • Many patients are suitable candidates for all-on-4 dental implants
  • All-on-4 dental implants provide support, feel like natural teeth and can be used for a full teeth replacement
  • Cost Effective - The All on 4 dental implant treatment is a most cost effective solution for teeth replacement over the typical dental implant procedure and bone grafting

ADA Recommendations

Please note that all dental procedures carry risk and you should consult your dental professional before proceeding. Before proceeding with a surgical or invasive procedure, you should seek the opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner first or seek a second opinion to discuss your medical history and any previous medical conditions.

The Australian dental association strongly urges Australians to have their dental surgery in Australia, as the benefits far outweigh the risks.
