All Dentist Health Fund Providers Accepted
In Australia, health insurance means that eligible patients can receive a health fund benefit from their chosen health insurer. This does require choosing selected extras cover on top of your essentials cover.
Depending on your health and services required, the type of essentials cover held will vary between patients. These can be completely customised by you.
Most major health funds renew their maximum benefit entitlement every calendar year (depending).
A preferred provider relationship allows for the maximum benefit entitlement, determined by a contract set out by your chosen preferred provider.
The level of cover in private health insurance varies depending on the options you choose. Health fund members should contact their health insurance to find out what will be received for which health services. Generally, most private health insurance will pay well for patients preventative dental services. Most major health dental extras cover will also allow for a fully covered scale and clean.
At Maylands Dental Centre, we are a preferred provider for HBF, HCF, NIB and CBHS health funds.
No health funds
If you do not have any health fund and do not wish to engage a health fund insurance company, we also have other payment options for you.
